The Mess Hall is a dining cafeteria, presumably used by the former crew members of the Hisa Maru.
Description[]
The Mess Hall is a spacious room, with two exits/entrances and two large dining tables, littered with plates. Shelves line the walls, and a radiator rests in a corner, next to a wooden divider.
Tips[]
- The Mess Hall can contain many valuable items, such as sub batteries and backpacks.
- The tables here are arguably the best places to hide in the game. Monsters cannot see you inbetween the seats, even if they look right at you, but you will be able to see exactly where the monster is and which direction it's facing at all times, as opposed to hiding in a locker or cabinet where your vision is much more limited. Having two doors to this area also means you cannot be cornered.
Trivia[]
- While looking for the player, The Hunter will sometimes walk up on top of one of the tables. If this happens, it will never come back down.
- Oni masks may spawn under the tables here.
